No, not games to control your mind (we’ve been doing that forever). Rather, a game controller that reads your brainwaves. Simultaneously cool and creepy. Let’s just hope it remains a read-only device.

As many technological advancements are made so we can do things faster and more efficiently, it occurred to me several years ago that, eventually, we’d invent portals because getting around in cars or planes just takes too long. Then it occurred to me that we would eventually consider even this too slow a means of transportation, so the next logical step would be creating something which would allow us to simultaneously exist in all places at once. Personally, I would find it really amusing if humans became omnipresent as a result of not feeling like walking two feet to a portal.
If necessity is the mother of invention, than laziness is its deadbeat dad.
