Internet!
So, shortly after the previous entry of some sixteen weeks ago, I though to myself that it would be nice to make my next blog post from my shiny new apartment on my very own Internet connection.
…
Well, they finally turned on my Internet yesterday. Yes, that’s right, it took almost four months for Burlington Telecom to get my service installed. It is dramatically fast, but after that much build-up I’m afraid even five-megabit symmetrical ‘Net is anticlimactic.
Anyhoo, there’s much going on in my life but you’ll have to wait for the next entry because it’s getting late.

Congrats on finally getting your internet! Travis & I want to know what sites you consider worthy of Bit Torrent time. We’re putting our toes in the water. I’ve experimented a bit with mininova & pirate bay…but I’m hesitant to just pick a site & go for it without hearing something about it.
Any suggestions? (Trav asks what are good ones for hard to find t.v.???)

For hard-to-find TV, I’d ask Rob. He’s dug up a ton of that stuff, and most everything I get is pretty mainstream and easy to find.
For everything else, Mininova is my best friend. They’ve got just about everything that isn’t obscure and the search works well. The Pirate Bay and isoHunt (http://isohunt.com/) are usually my second stops. They both have huge databases, but I often find it difficult to locate stuff in the masses. Between those three, you’ll be able to find the vast majority of what’s available.
