I voted!
I have just voted for, among other things, who I would like to be the next president of the United States of America. I voted for Barack Obama. I don’t believe that he’s quite the avatar of shining hope that he’s made out to be, but I do believe he’s probably the best candidate to cross the ballot in my lifetime. Certainly the best since I’ve been of voting age. So here’s hoping they don’t manage to rig another election and that America is finally ready to try to do something different.
We could make this the start of something really good. So let’s do that.

I’m not able to vote, but I took Jamie to early voting last week. She, of course, voted for Obama. As I have stated before, he is definitely the best man for the job. If the majority of Americans cannot see that basic fact, and McCain (and the nutjob he picked for VP) wins, then I will lose what little faith I have left in the American people’s ability to THINK.

Ditto. This was actually the first time I voted for a major party candidate in a presidential election.
