Ongoing Process

I played paintball!  It’s been like 8 years or something.  It was a lot of fun.  I played 4 games, got hit 3 times, and hit two other people.  Not too shabby to be as rusty as I am.

I also clobbered my left shin.  Lots of scrapes, huge swelling, quite painful, the whole deal.  I imagine I’m going to have a serious bruise very soon.  This after having smashed my right shin on my bed frame last night (though not as badly).  So I’m quite the bundle of limps at the moment.

I met some cool people, including a couple more geeks who might make for future activity partners.  It’s nice to have something of a social circle again (even if it’s composed mostly of people I barely know).

Well, well.  It’s been a while.  I’ve been occupied and preoccupied and things have changed greatly.

I have a new home.

I work half-time.

I am single.

Between these, my life is substantially different than it was a short while ago.  I now have a great deal of time and space, which I have sorely lacked for a few years now.  It is my intention to use these to learn about life.  I’m not yet sure quite what that means, but I suppose I’ll find out soon enough.
